Suffolk Coastal District Council appoints the lyndonhackett team to complete its branding needs.

As part of a vision for Felixstowe, the brand icon was developed as the public face to the master-planning project covering the seafront and part of the town centre.

As a thriving seaside town and port, Felixstowe is attractive to residents of all ages, and welcoming to visitors who wish to experience the town’s beautiful coastal location, proud Edwardian heritage, vibrant and diverse retail offer, café culture and healthy outdoor lifestyle.

In support of the positive ‘head’ and ‘strap’ text, the brand icon broadly shows the geographic outline of the peninsula and incorporates three colours representing the land, sand and sea, from which the ‘sand’ aspect provides a ‘positive’ tick mark - “It’s on brief, on budget, and just as importantly, on time”, reported the economic development team.
